I've got a few posts in the works (really!), but this has been an incredibly long week for me which left me with seriously no time to myself (I should actually be in bed right now, too). Nevertheless, Easter has always been a big celebration in my family - I'm pretty sure my mom was still making me an Easter basket no more than two years ago, and I recall a day of dyed eggs and egg-hunting last year - so, I'd like to at least wish everyone a happy one this year!

ReplyDeleteTo me Easter is one of the greatest days to celebrate...bigger than Christmas...
I thoroughly enjoyed going shopping for your Easter dresses and shirt and ties for the boys. The most wonderful memory is when we were all together coloring those Easter eggs for the next day! Of course, we always colored too many to eat but it was not about the value of the eggs but the value in the joy that the eggs brought when they were found. I do remember making you an Easter basket every year...my baby girl. I will miss making one for you this year but there's always next year. Happy Easter!
