I'm Sarah.
From Texas (Austin).

I started this blog in 2007ish to document my adventurous life in my 20s and keep up with family when my now-husband, Guillaume and I were bouncing around from Texas to California to Paris. This blog was extremely cathartic for me as an expat in Paris and brought many wonderful people into my life at a very transitional time. I find myself coming back here to reminisce about different points of adulthood over the past 17 years.

It's 2024 now and my last update was nearly 4 years ago, when I was in the throes of motherhood, completely focused on parenting and feeling very much like a fish out of water. A lot transpired during that turbulent period of learning how to parent, and I've chosen to archive a large chunk of those posts that feel really vulnerable now.

But, I'm diving back in during a different life season to take note of the moments, food, knitted things, etc. currently taking up my time. I'm hoping to tap back into those therapeutic benefits that I've so often gained from getting it all out. And, I also just like having a place to look back on past adventures.

I like to dabble in making just about anything - clothes, furniture, websites, etc. So, chances are I'll be writing about things like sewing, knitting, traveling, ethical fashion, and random thoughts while figuring out this middle part of life.
